Massage Types Offered

Swedish Massage:
This is the classic massage. It will help you ease stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation. This massage can relieve sore muscles, help you feel rested, relaxed, and will help you get a good night's sleep!
Sports Massage: This form of bodywork is geared towards participants in athletics or committed to working out on a regular basis. It is used to prevent injuries, prepare the body for activity, maintain it in optimal condition, to help you recover from workouts and injuries.
Hot Stone Massage: Massage is delivered with smooth, hot stones used as massage tools and placed on various locations of the body. This adds warmth and depth to a typical massage. Book this if you love to feel warm or if you are recovering from sore muscles that could benefit from a little heat.
Reiki: Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Some people report that a treatment feels like a radiance or vibration that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit.

This type of massage is effective in getting the “knots” out of your muscles. Deeper pressure is used, but you will be asked to during the massage about the comfort of the pressure to make sure that the appropriate pressure is used for you.
Prenatal Massage:
Prenatal Massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. Special cushions are used so that the mother to be can comfortably lay face down. This type of massage offers a natural, safe, drug-free alternative choice for pain relief, since taking medications are often limited during a pregnancy for the sake of the unborn child.
Sound Healing:
Relax to the vibrations of live Tibetan singing bowls. As you listen to the singing bowls you will feel the sound waves flow through your body and wash away your stress. Your mind and body will be transformed to a perfect meditative state.
10 Minute Foot Upgrade:
This upgrades adds an additional 10 minutes to any massage of your choice. A full 10 minutes focuses on the feet using your choice of essential oil. Lavender, Peppermint, or Grapefruit.
